Abalon builds and operates KnockPortal. KnockPortal helps contractors decide where to send direct mail. It uses public permit records for your trade to show where recent permitted work is concentrated, filters out homes with prior permits for the same kind of work, and builds postcard mailings to nearby homes based on the areas you choose.
Building permits are public record. In practice they are hard to use: every city publishes them differently, most records are irrelevant to any single trade, and by the time a permit surfaces through a general search it is no longer new. KnockPortal exists to close that gap.
Abalon builds and runs the product in house. A data pipeline reads each city’s open-data records on a daily schedule and publishes them as a dated snapshot. There is no reseller between the municipal record and the contractor.

KnockPortal serves licensed contractors in residential trades who use direct mail to reach homes near recent permitted work. Current trade coverage, service areas, and pricing are listed on knockportal.com.

Choose a city and a trade on knockportal.com, then an area on the permit map or a zone for an autopilot.

Approve
Approve a one-off mailing, or authorize an autopilot with a cap per run. Every postcard is checked before it prints.

Send
KnockPortal prints and mails the postcards and reports the latest postal scan for each address. It does not promise replies or jobs.

Billing and support.
KnockPortal subscriptions are billed by Abalon Construction Management LLC as the merchant of record. Card payments are processed by Stripe; Abalon does not store card details. Subscription terms, the privacy policy that governs subscriber data, and cancellation are handled at knockportal.com.
